(1) When xanthurenic acid produces diabetic symptoms in animals, the inorganic phosphate content in blood and liver increases, while the amount of hospho-creative decreases.
(2) When glucose is administered to diabetic animals caused by the action of xanthurenic acid, little or no changes of the inorganic phosphate in their blood can be detected.
(3) When insulin is injected, the action of xanthurenic acid is blocked.
(4) When xanthurenic acid produces diabetic symptoms in animals, the amount of creatinine excreted in their urine increases remarkably.
