1) Brain emulsion supernatant fractionated by centrifugation at 1000×g for 5 minutes, is antigenic. 2) In case of the 1000×g supernatant being fractionated by centrifugation at 6000×g for 20 minutes, antigenic activity is seen in the sediment, and not in the supernatant, even if the latter is injected three times by 1ml. 3) In case of the 6000×g supernatant being fractionated at 12000×g for 20 minutes, the resultant sediment is found antigenic. 4) As to the antigenic fraction, it is morphologically observed that is considered as mitochondria, as well as granual substance, excluding cells, nuclei, and stromas, of the nervous system is antigenic. And on the other hand, it is chemically observed that the antigenic matter is water-insoluble and characteristic both of lipid and protein.
