Atopic dermatitis is a chronic eczema with strong itchiness; it aggravates and causes possible remissions. In most cases, it occurs when the person has diathesis of atopic factors such as bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, conjunctivitis, or atopic dermatitis. Mostly it appears at childhood, it is often remissive at adulthood. Though it could recur at adulthood and/or would become serious. For the adult, these inflammations on the skin caused from those diatheses would become worse from the mental stress in the work place and/or domestic environment. It is more likely when a patient has family members carrying the diathesis of atopic dermatitis, also it is found when there are complications with other kinds of atopy. This examination was conducted on the subject with a history of Atopic dermatitis, performed aroma treatment once in seven days pace in total of eight times, and observed QOL progress by means of the KK scale method.
