Objective: This study aimed to clarify the gap in services expected between a home-visit rehabilitation user and his/her family, also to examine whether the gap affects the family's care burden.
Methods: A questionnaire survey was conducted on a home-visit rehabilitation user and his/her family, and the factors related to the family's care burden were analyzed.
Results: The family's care burden was negatively correlated with the concordance rate of expected services in home-visit rehabilitation, and the family's satisfaction. In addition, the correlation was different depending on each disease.
Conclusion: It was suggested that the gap in each of the services expected could serve as clues in estimating the family's care burden.
