We developed a card game to teach crops cultivation concepts and had 55 students at a teacher training
college play it in groups. A post-game questionnaire survey revealed that the students had acquired
understanding of countermeasures against pests and vermin, and types of beneficial insects that they
had not previously known. To achieve the SDGs goals, we would like to continue to use this material to
provide repetitive experiences through card games as preliminary study prior to agricultural experience
activities.
