The author conducted experimental lessons using “mBlock”, which allows programming to control the movements of a robot. The purpose of programming education is to foster the formation of a programming way of thinking. If this is encouraged, it is presumed that students' willingness to learn and mindset will change. To confirm this assumption, surveys were conducted both after the first experimental lesson and after the eighth lesson. This paper examines the results of these surveys.

The novel coronavirus has spread worldwide, and Shokei University has been conducting online remote classes along with many other universities around Japan. Classroom, Google Meet, Google Drive, Google Chat, etc. are being used to carry out remote classes. In this paper, graphs showing the changes in how these online tools are being used are shown, followed by reporting on the current situation in order to strive for system construction and operational improvements in future remote classes.
