We have introduced a simulation model for the orientation distribution of crystallites under biaxial stretching by assuming suitable aggregations of polycrystallites in poly (
p-phenylene sulfide) films. These evaluations were performed by estimating the plastic slip in each plane of the crystal unit that induced plastic deformation in biaxial stretching. In this report, we adopted four kinds of slip systems in the crystal unit of poly (
p-phenylene sulfide) crystallites. The azimuthal rotations of crystal units always selected individual slip systems for plastic deformation, in accordance with the principle of maximum plastic work.
