    A high-flow ductile PP (MFR = 150 g/10 min@200°C)was prepared by chain scission with organic peroxide in the presence of phenol compound. The composites prepared by melt-mixing with carbon fiber showed high flexural strength, high modulus, high heat resistance and high-flow. In the composites, fairly long fibers (0.5-1 mm) were found to remain without serious damage during the mixing. It suggests that a small portion of such long fibers is very effective for the high performances.
