    The composite material used in this study was built up from many thin aluminum alloy sheets and unidirectional CFRP layers. This material can be formed plastically at the room temperature under a certain limiting conditions. Because of the range that the material is formed without defects is relatively narrow, there are some problems in this forming process. A purpose of this study is to solve the problems by means of introducing the ordinary forming process of the plastic composite that makes material and forms the shape at the same time. The V-shape forming experiments were carried out with they change of curing temperature, the forming pressure and the radius of the tip of V-shaped punch. Forming conditions of the super hybrid material were optimized by using the experimental results, and the problems were almost solved. The products showed no spring-back, and the accuracy of thickness of the products were improved remarkably compared with those of formed under the room temperature using cured sheet material.

    Biaxially stretched poly (ethylene terephthalate) (PET), isotactic polypropylene (PE) and isotactic high density poly-propylene (HCPP) films have been characterized by crystallinity, dielectric constant, refractive index and birefringence. Anisotropy of refractive index by microwave for PET, PP and HCPP biaxially stretched films indicated higher value than refractive index by Abbe refractometer. We recognized good correlation between refractive indices by microwave and Abbe refractometer for biaxially stretched PET, PP and HCPP films, respectively.

    A p-v-T device of plunger type was used to investigate about the specific volume of solid and molten liquid crystalline polymers (LCPs), composites (LCP-GF) containing glass fibers (GF) as a function of pressure (up to 153MPa) and temperature (50-350°C). In this study, we have been discussed the temperature dependence and the effects of GF content on the compressibility and the using author's equation for the p-v-T properties of LCP determined by isothermal testing method.
    The compressibility-temperature relationships of LCP are characterized by a parabolic cuves of below convex, and it is minimum when the specimen temperature is about 120 and 150°C. The compressibility at 150°C of the LCP composites (HBG-140) filled with 40wt% of glass fibers are about 26% smaller than that unfilled LCPs. Consequently, their coefficients of cubical expansion are identified to be significantly affected by containing with GF. The specific volumes of solid and liquid LCP calculated by the empirical equation were evidenced to agree with measured values to within 0.7 to 0.9%.
