ジャーナル フリーIn the period 1953 to 1957 near the Tsuchitaru Station on the Joetsu Line, field experiments on sloping snow-pressure using individual poles were carried out to obtain some data on the snow pressure falling on such poles, its vertical distribution and sphere of its influence, etc. The pressure was 1.5-2 tons under a snow depth 2.5 m or thereabout at the slope inclined at 3235°. The patterns of vertical distribution included B. D. P. and other types. The sphere of influence extended over 33-35 m2, it was 16-20 m2 in the case of a buried pole. ジャーナル フリーIn this paper the author makes an attempt on qualitative explanation of particular runoff phenomenon in Oze-Hara during snow cover weighted period by Terzerghi's concept of clay expansion.
About 1/7 of the area of Oze Hora basin (70km2) is occupied by the moor, which consists of deep loam with much field moisture equivalent, measured as 7080% at almost all points in Summer season.
Increase and decrease of snow cover weight will bring the expansion and skrinrage of loams and change its field moisture equivalent, and consequently result in particular runoff from the basin.抄録全体を表示PDF形式でダウンロード (584K) -

国鉄は23,000kmの本線軌道延長を有し, 年間延39億人の旅客と, 1億6,000万屯の尨大な貨物を輸送して・国民の足の努めを果しているが, 冬ともなれば・その約40%の9,000kmが雪に覆われ, これが除雪に心を砕いている.除雪は雪掻車を主体として, 除雪労務員を併用しているが, その経費は莫大であり, 除雪労務賃銀だけで年間2億円の多額にのぼっている.雪の国鉄輸送に及ぼす影響は非常に大きいが, 以下新潟鉄道管理局における除雪の実晴を主として記述する.抄録全体を表示PDF形式でダウンロード (5521K)
