ジャーナル フリーThe mechanism of rust-preventing action of oils has been discussed and it has been shown that Barnum's theory of water-displacing action of oil seems to be unable to interpret Pilz's experimental conclusion concerning the relation between contact angle and rust-preventive ability of oils. ジャーナル フリーWe tried comparative test of many anticorrosive methods for iron and steel by salt spraying and wheathering, and found that, in the case of non-painting, the iron and steel which were treated by “Zinc plating- chromate treating-oxy dizing” method was superior and that in the case of painting, “Zinc plating-phosphate treating” method, “Zinc plating-chromate treating” method, and “Zinc plating” were nearly as good as “Zinc plating-chromate treating-oxydizing” method.抄録全体を表示PDF形式でダウンロード (2951K) -

ジャーナル フリーThe experiment on the salt spray resistance was carried out with the Al and Al-alloy casting, on which Cu, Ni and Cr are plated by single or multiple plating.
The experimental results show that both Ni and Cu-Ni plating are corroded rapidly by spraying.
The plating layer is protruded by the corrosion product which is produced on the surface of base metal due to long time spraying.

ジャーナル フリーIn the case of epoxy resin Spraying, it is essentially important to complete the curing after spraying in order to obtain chemically and physically superior film.
Therefore the authors tried to get a method “how to complete the curing” and could catch the condition of it by the following experiment.
i) Determination of free phthalic unhydride, accelerator of condensation, in each step of material preparation, spraying and curing.
ii) Measurement of corrosion resistivity in the course of curing.
