Property of the anodized films formed at high current density in sulfuric acid solution was investigated. Degreased 99.85% aluminum and AL-Zn-Mg alloy were anodized in sulfuric acid solutions of 25% at 35°C, by applying D. C in a range of 5-50A/dm
2. The pores radius of the anodized films were widened and dye-affinity of the anodized films were increased as rising of current density. Alkaline resistance and abrasion resistance were decreased as rising of current density. The anodized films on AL-Zn-Mg alloy formed of high current density was stripped from the substrate metal. It was suggested that dissolution of the anodized film at high current density in sulfuric acid solution was remarkable.
