We have studied failures and troubles (F/T) based on maintenance data in hospitals. After discussing the responsibility for F/T regarding air-conditioning systems, this study proposes a total evaluation approach for building maintenance from the view point of facility managers and provides information to estimate it by analyzing the maintenance data as a series of these studies. This report describes the necessity to assess building maintenance and shows the event of each the F/T and the specific contents such as the parts where these occur and their countermeasures.
Complaints have been made regarding offensive odorors that affect arising from the Johkasou system yet understood the actual state of odor and divergence targeting small merger Johkasou are not grasped. Therefore, we examined and analyzed the actual condition of septic tanks installed in individual houses, in particular because there has been no actual survey on a compact merger processing method incorporating an anaerobic filter bed and biological filtration. As a result, it became clear that the concentration of hydrogen sulfide in water is waste water system a factor influencing offensive odors in the Johkasou.
We previously developed a prototype of an air conditioner selecting support tool. In this report, we improve and expand the simulation database by using parameters for a lifestyle that approximates real life. We also construct a tool that can be mounted on a graphical user interface (GUI), allowing users to select different lifestyles and consumer preferences. We conducted trial calculations to determine the energy-saving potential of the tool. The following were carried out. 1. Based on the results of a web-based questionnaire, we simulated various factors such as the room temperature and the electricity consumed by air conditioners by using the parameters for different lifestyles and types of air conditioners. The database was improved and expanded therefrom. 2. Using an analytic hierarchy process (AHP), we constructed a method for selecting air conditioners, considering the selection rates. By incorporating this method, we developed a tool for air conditioners that can facilitate the selection of a suitable type of air conditioner, based on a user’s lifestyle and selection rates that are input in the GUI. 3. The tool uses less energy than a number of Japanese tatami mats.
