This report show the study regarding the method which estimate specific water consumption for the purpose of architectonics. In this report, by using actual measurement data of water consumption per day, monthly water consumption is calculated. By the water load calculating method, hot-water load is also calculable if a factor is changed.. Comparison of water supply load and hot-water supply load was calculated. Moreover, the calculation of Storage Tank capacity is attained using the rate of load according to the hourly hot-water load rate. The rate of load is based on statistics data in many cases. The peak value of the rate of load by the building scale was investigated.

We carried out the simulation of the instantaneous, the hourly and the daily water load every one hour from 4 o'clock until 24 o'clock by using the number of station toilet arrival people at the T station in Tokyo. The result of simulation is shown that the change in the waiting time due to the increase and decrease of the number of equipments is large, and the change in three kinds of loads doesn't have a large influence with the number of those.

The purpose of this study is to develop a calculating method for cold and hot water consumption in office building. This paper shows the state of office worker's presence and the characteristics of water usage in the hot-water service rooms by the questionnaire investigation and measurement in the D building. Under the analysis of results, we set up the calculating model. Furthermore, we carried out the simulation for calculating the time series loads. By comparing the values of measurement and simulation, the applicability of calculating method for hot-water service room in office building is verified.

This paper describes design methods to optimize capacity of hot water supply equipments. Hot water load survey was carried out at three hotels in Tokyo. In addition, questionnaires were administered about bathing through the Internet to considerable numbers of people. Based on the results of load survey and questionnaires, optimized capacity of water heaters and hot water tanks were simulated. The required capacity based on the simulation showed a good coincidence with the result of the load survey.

In this paper, the energy consumption and the efficiency of high efficient equipment for hot water supply under the actual use condition were investigated at 4 detached houses in Kinki region. As a result, it is clarified the different ways of bathing influence potently on the hot water energy consumption. The efficiency (COP) measured in this investigation was smaller than that of catalog value, particularly in the winter.

Recently a new sterilizer system using hypochlorous acid water has been presented in food industry. Low concentration of hypochlorous acid water is known to have efficient germicidal power. This paper describes several applications of hypochlorous acid water in air-conditioning and sanitary engineering fields.

It made sample according to polymer, combination, filler to improve the chlorine resistance efficiency of the synthetic rubber and it implemented dipping examination by chlorine water. The result is shown below. 1) As polymer, the chlorine resistance is the most excellent in EPDM. 2) In to add Polybutene as the combination , the chlorine resistance efficiency can be more improved. 3) In to adopt FT Carbon as the filler, the chlorine resistance efficiency can be improved in the same way.

In the former report, it is necessary to calculate still in detail though calculating simulation program which can calculate the water replacing duration inside residential piping, and several water supply consumption of each water supply appliance as the foundation of diagnostic program. So, in order to calculate as accurate value as possible by this report, it was decides to be calculated by giving change about the water replacing duration to time of each water supply appliance, and the development of the calculation simulation program to diagnose the water quality degradation about the residual chlorine concentration based on the value was done.

This study has verified validity of renewal installing a saved-water type sanitary fixture. At "A" and "B" building, renewal was performed installing a saved-water type sanitary fixture. In this paper, the prediction method of the inlet water temperature of purification plant shown in the last paper was used and comparison between measurement and calculation results in 2001 and 2002 was performed. And prediction method of water temperature from water purification plant and that in the water pipe from a water purification plant to a building were shown and a series of predictions from a water source to a building was performed for validation of the prediction method.

The simulation method of the system efficiency for dwellings central hot-water supply system that consists of a gas instantaneous hot-water heater and point divergence piping system has been shown before. In this paper, we report the result which enabled it to estimate the amount of gas consumption to the calculation model of gas instantaneous hot-water heater, added improvement that the header-conduit piping system to point divergence piping system, and the influence of the mixing faucets could be considered. In comparison with a calculation result and an experiment result, since the relative error in the amount of gas consumption and system efficiency were settled to less than 2%, it was shown that this estimating method is appropriate.

The technique of solving the temperature distribution in a heat storage tank of the multifunctional heat pump hot water supply system, with high precision, using simple energy balance formula is developed. The feature of a solution method is assuming the thermal diffusion under the influence of buoyant force in a tank to be change of thermal conductivity. As a result, the simulation of temperature distribution in a heat storage tank agrees with examination result.

We developed the VAV system to suppress over cooling as reporting in our previous paper and installed it into the actual facility. As results , it was recognaized that this VAV control system was superior on the individual room temperature to the traditional VAV control system . More over, it was predicted that the energy-saving was about 31.9% per a year, when we select the saving energy mode.

At the biological clean-room with a high airtight performance, it is required that the differential pressure between higher room and lower room is not absolutely reversed. So, we have developed the control system that it is installed so-calded VST (Variable Stroke Time) mechanism for air supply, and successive control between dumper control for differential pressure and state of opening and shutting a door by worker. As results of differential pressure control using the test equipment, it was confirmed that the differential pressure did not reverse for changing air-supply volume of HVAC system, and kept stability for opening and shutting door.

The BA system of the Roppongi Hiruzu Mori tower is an open network multi vendor system. As the introductory effect, the example of BEMS of the open-ized data practical use which evaluates energy saving and indoor environment, and commissioning (performance verification) of automatic control is introduced. In consideration of the automatic control data of 640 points based on open-izing, the energy-saving effects, such as conveyance power reduction [by cold-water round trip difference-of-temperature reservation], outdoor air cooling effect, and CO2 control effect, are checked. In addition, performance verification of automatic control is tried from the action of VAV immediately after completion.

The combination control of VWV and VWT is developed and evaluated. The combination control needs to solve the trade off between the reduction of chiller energy consumption and the increase of the pump energy consumption according to the raise of the chiller water temperature. The VWT control changes the set point of chiller water temperature to reduce the total energy consumption using estimation models. By the provisional estimation based on the actual measurements, VWV/VWT combination control can reduce 50,000[kg-CO2/year], and it equal to the 5% of chillers and pumps energy consumption except for the auxiliary equipment.

The optimal control system for real-time operation of a district heating cooling and power plant was evaluated through a year operation concerning the improvement of its control performance and the reduction of CO_2 emission and operational cost of a plant. Through the evaluation, the optimal control system was estimated to reduce 4% CO_2 emission and 2 % operational cost of a plant. The optimal control system is continuing the control of the district heating cooling and power plant successfully for more than 1.5 years since the start of the evaluation.

In this paper, the effectiveness of using forecasted temperature profile for the multi-input load profile prediction, applied to a district heating, cooling and power plant, based on time series analysis, is evaluated by comparison with single input prediction model. Forecasted data contribute to improve the accuracy of a daylong prediction. And another thing, forecasted outdoor temperature profile updated twice a day provides a good performance of load prediction comparable to those hourly updated.

On the district heating and cooling (DHC) with a huge thermal storage tank, the analysis was performed focusing on three-year operation. The analysis in long term contains energy transaction, chiller operation, and plant operation such as the night-shift-rate and the primary-energy-conversion COP. As a result, it turned out that the night-shift-rate of quantity of heat gradually increased and the high COP was kept for these three years.

Focusing on the main facilities in district heating and cooling (DHC), this study evaluated performance and annual change of the main facilities based on measured data for three years after completion and showed effects of re-commissioning the following results 1)improving COP in the mid-term by reconsideration of low limit of cooling water temperature in chiller 2)changing operation pattern in thermal storage tank 3)becoming operation pattern as a design by low limit of cooling water temperature in cooling and heating tower 4)improving temperature difference between inlet and outlet by lowered supply temperature of chilled water and reducing electric consumption by changing control of operation in transportation pump.

With a system simulation of the DHC which have been analyzed in previous studies, we studied on how this DHC was achieved the high performance. On the basis of DHC system simulation results, we investigated about an effect of changing parameter. Through each comparison, it was shown that to enlarge a thermal storage tank, to introduce high COP Chillers and to decrease an inlet temperature of chilled water were effective.

Heat supply conditions were analyzed on DHC system constructed in Hiroshima city. As a result, it was appeared that the operating time at the partial load is very long and system COP fell in these cases. In this paper, operating conditions were analyzed on three turbo refrigerating machines to evaluate energy saving. COP and SCOP were obtained by function of chilled water temperature and cooling water temperature expressed as load factor function. At last, energy efficiency is simulated by variable water volume system.

The energy of supply chilled water pump for District Heating and Cooling is consumed from ten for 20%. Chilled water pump using the inverter save 40% energy by lowering 0.08Mpa supply pressure. It is important to lower the supply pressure as much as possible.
