Thermal behavior of the dwelling is deferent according to the peripheral environment. In order to realize the thermal influence of the plants such as leaves of trees and loans, we have measured the surface temperature or surrounding air temperatures of trees since 2005. In this paper we describe the calculation methods of radiant heats of the each wall of the dwelling. We suppose two types of dwellings; one is located in suburban area, the other in downtown. Calculation parameters are as follows; wall insulation, type of glasses, tree location, garden materials and so on. We calculate the surface temperatures in summer daytime and the skin loads and cooling loads of the dwelling. When the dwelling located in suburban is surrounded trees of 6m tall, the daytime cooling load is reduced several percents than that of non-tree dwellings.

The inside wall of the wooden dwellings by the two-by-four method were simulated by transient analysis to illustrate the effect of damp proof membrane and type of insulation materials. The seven cities were selected each area segmented under the Energy Saving Standard 1999. In Asahikawa, Hirosaki, Nagano and Tokyo, the wall without the membrane were humid in winter. However in Naha, very hot humid area in Japan, the membrane caused high humidity in summer. In Kumamoto and Miyazaki, the wall needs both it and wood fiber insulation board. The former prevents the humidity in winter, and the latter in summer.

We take up three items for energy consumptions (the electric power, cooling and heating energy form DHC), and similarly take up three items for resource consumptions (water, intermediate water supply and waste). We think that the operation and climate conditions will be influence at the energy and resource consumptions. So, we try to analyze the change in outside temperature, humidity and driving time of air-conditioning units (for the operation situations) at first. Next, we analyze both annual and monthly trend of energy and the resource consumption for eight years.

It is said that the energy simulation method is available to measures the effect of energy saving in the building at the operation phase. However, the effect of the reduction of each saving method is not so much; therefore we combine a lot of methods and decrease energy consumption. And, it is too serious to do these calculations using energy simulation method. On the other hand, it is thought the statistical analysis method can be shows the trend of energy consumption as the entire building comparatively simply, though we try to evaluate the effect of energy saving operation using the regression analysis as a statistical method.
