In a modulating type amplifier, the signal frequency
fi is restricted within a narrow band.
But by the presence of a negative feedback in the modulating system, containing choppers of full wave type, it can be expected to obtain a wide band of
fi, because the higher harmonics of the chopping frequency
f0 are suppressed sufficiently.
A few papers have been published on this subject.
However, the output characteristics and the stability condition of the above system have not been thoroughly analysed yet, when the bandwidth of
fi is such that it includes higher harmonics of
f0.
In this paper, two types of the above mentionel system, i.e. the parallel type and the differential type, are discussed in details concerning the problems of output characteristics and stavility condition.
The quantitative materials, for designing the modulating system, are given in the conclusion.
And also in the experimental application of operational amplifier with a wide frequency band, it is shown that signals in a wide band frequency can be amplified stably.
