It is more than 5 years since the LEP e^+e^- collider came into operation. The four LEP experiments have been scrutinizing Standard Model by measuring the properties of the Z^0 boson with ever-improving accuracies. They have also been making unambiguous searches for the awaited Higgs boson and other speculative particles. With clean, high-statistics samples of heavy flavor final states, the LEP experiments are also serving as a factory of heavy flavors. Here I summarize the major physics results of the experiments and discuss briefly the prospects of the LEP-II experiments.
