This paper deals with the experimental and theoretical study on the trajectory of granular materials containing various particles with different diameters sprayed from a nozzle by an air flow and their deposit distribution on the ground.
Four kinds of glass beads with different mean diameters have been used in the experiment.
The influences of large particles mixed in spraying materials on the deposit distribution are investigated as follows in the experiments;
1) The position of the top of deposit distribution curves shifts downward, that is the distance between the nozzle and the top of deposit distribution curves increases.
2) The deposit area range of particlesion the ground gets smaller.
3) The deposit amount at the top of distribution increases.
The position of the top of deposit distribution curve on the ground is given by numerical solving the theoretical equations of motion regarding the particle having mean diameter in the spray.
