In the present paper, the following points were especially attended.
1). The seasonal succession of the plants. And it was observed that the
Z. marina flourish during the early spring and the early summer, make flowers open in the early summer, and go to decay from the midsummer till the late autumn. The
Z. nana flourish during the late spring and the late autumn, go to decay in the winter, and make flowers open twice in a year, in the late spring and the late autumn.
2). The seeds germinate, in the sea, after the dormancy of several months. The seedlings appear abundantly in the early spring in
Z. marina, and in the late spring in the
Z. nana. The dilute sea water (5-10 cl.) make the germination of seed easy, while it seems to be harmful for the seedling.
