The fatal defects of carbon products are oxidation and pore existence. The ways of making up for these defects have been considered for every kind of products. In this paper, the results we have tested for covering up these defects by repeating pitch impregnation and baking are reported.
Recently, the cleaner brushes are often used in those cases where the surface films become too thick. In this paper, the effects of the cleaner brush upon the film formation are reported in details. The experimental results covering the sparkless zone of commutation are also written.
Measurements of breaking strength of carbon products are reported in details. The effects of various cross sections, variable span length, and the cffecs of granule size are also stated in this paper.
