The value of man does not consist in the ability or usefulness of his mind and body, but consists in his greatest realization of an innate gift. Every child, including handicapped children, has an infinite possibility in self-realization. Self-realization must bring with it the concrete contents, since it is achieved in a certain historical culture. In my opinion, the concrete contents are Frankl's three valnes in human life-creative values, experiential values and attitudinal valnes, which he told from the stand point of his existential analysis. Many handicapped children are able to realize creative values or experiential values, although they have various limitations in realizing them. Man is a psychosomatic and spiritual being. The personality of man is the phenomenology of the spirit, and the existentitentiality of man is the ontology of the spirit. Handicapped children who can have mental sufferings, are able to realize attitudinal values and cultivate their personalities by acting with their own consciences, even if they are in many sufferings derived from their disadvantageous psyehosomatic conditions. We must not forget that, even in psychopaths and senseless criminals, a spiritual personality neves becomes extinct.
