Yarn quality and spinning condition dependmuch upon draft force in the back zone of a ringspinning frame. Therefore, it is important to controldraft force. In other words, it is necessary tocontrol synthetically roving strength, the brakedraft ratio and back roller gauge which influencedraft force.
We have developed “Tensionmeter, ” whichmeasures easily the tension of the top during draftingon a running frame. How to control thetension of the top and regulate draft force is explainedin this article.
