This paper describes the aortic valve's opening and closing simulation, which has been performed by using a particle method. The blood in the aorta flows according to the pressure difference between the heart and the aorta, and this blood flow makes the aortic valve open and close. If the aortic valve malfunctions, some surgeries are needed to be operated, and computer simulation of the aortic valve's movement is necessary. In the simulation, there are two different types of materials: elastic body that is the aortic valve, and fluid that is blood. The topology of the blood flow changes due to the opening and closing of the aortic valve. Then, the mesh of the simulation models is needed to be reconstructed all the time if FEM (Finite Element Method) is adopted. Then, we have used particle method rather than FEM for the simulation. In addition, two different types of constitutive equations have been used to represent the two different types of materials: elastic body and fluid. As the result of the simulations, we have found that the movement of the aortic valve is different according to the length of the aortic valve's leaflet.
