The measuring system of the marathon runner's step frequency and stride has been newly developed by realtime image processing. It is constructed in real time image processing system and personal computer. By using this sytem, we can get the runner's step frequency through FFT by detecting the face's motion vector in the image. The runner's stride is calculated by the runner's distance data and step frequency.
Sanyo Broadcasting Station, News department devised LAN Electronic Telop and the Prompt Super Impose System. This system would be used to electronized all letter information such as news and prompting reports recieved within RSK as well as from elswhere. This system has been specifically designed so that with minimal explanation, it can be operated with ease and increased efficiency by virtually anyone, and without requiring the use of a keyboard.
Aunual measurement of color encoder characteristics is regulated by the radio law and the measurement requires complex and skillful operations for broadcasting stations. This paper reports a newly developed component test signals and a simple and highly accurate measurement method using the signals. Using this technique, additional measurement parts become unnecessary for color encoders and measurement time is drastically reduced, that is, time and cost effectiveness is possible for broadcasters and manuactures.
To avoid the traffic jam and make a report as immediate as possible from the site, we have develped the FLY PACK. FLY PACK is compact instruments for live-reporting that can be carried by helicopter, and only two persons shall be needed to operate. Although we use the Omni-Antennas, its range to waypoint is improved to 90km. which is as three times as usual system.
This system is consisted a direction finding antenna (deal mode spiral antenna) and FPU-RX antenna (short back fire antenna). There are attached to the bottom of helicopter. The direction finding antenna determines the direction from Which the TV microwave are coming (up-link). Subsequently the RX antenna's angle is adjusted to be faceing with the TX-antenna on the ground. This system can receive and make up-link under all weather condition when limited visibility such as during raing, foggy and cloudy. This system will be used the fixed omni antenna for up-link side. It isn't nessary to see helicopter from up-link side.
