The multipurpose studio, which is mainly used for TV program production, is also could be used for sound recording and for other purposes. This studio has movable sound reflectors in the ceiling that will contribute to increase of early reflected sounds. Sound absorbent curtains are employed in front of reflective walls in order to control reverberation time. High quality sound recording studio has three booths around the stage for the purpose of recording well-separated sounds of several musical instruments individually. The control room of the recording studio is acoustically designed for mixing of high quality sounds. From the result of subjective estimation, it was found that the smaller the early reflected sounds from the rear wall are, the closer the sound image is.
This report is about a new chart which can measure a horizontal frequency characteristics of optical camera. The most outstanding characteristic of this chart is a halftone of stripes. And stripes in the chart corespond to accurate frequency. In addition this report will inform you a special technique to display number and figures on the wave form monitor.
Generally it is understood that the AES/EBU digital audio interface has been specified by AES3-1985 (ANSI S4.40-1985) standard for the past 6 years. While there was AES3 standard, many national and international interface standards which were adopted by other organizations such as IEC, CCIR, EIAJ and EBU existed to specify the professional and consumer digital audio interface. This paper describes background on the related these interface standards. Also, it covers explanations for the revised AES3 (AES3-199X draft standard) which should be refered in use of the professional digital audio interface. This recent revision attempts to correct some deficiencies of the original and provide further capability in the channel status bits.
