The Quick Program Assessment System is developed to record programs, which can be immediately retrieved to answer inquiries and complaints from viewers. The system is a PC LAN connected server-client system. Programs, recorded in 3 systems-aired TV broadcasting, radio broadcasting and pre-recorded studio TV programs can presently be searched from thee terminals. Recording time for TV is 3 hours. for radio 5 hours. When recorded they replace previously recorded materials. The recording is not interrupted during replaying. You can search using a keyboard and a mouse. Video and audio is controlled by MPEG1 standard. the quality of which sufficeiently allows screening to check programs.
This time we constructed the special editing room that we used flexible cart. We completed two editing rooms that has component digital system and we realized program editing system by digital β cam VTR. To improve the condition surrounded the editing we arranged VTR facilitie in the machine room and then we installed VTR flexible cart for the editing room. This is to reduce works of tape changing. Because recently the number of tape that we handle is increasing.
This paper presents the novel method of automatic calculation for estimating the medium-wave broadcast service area and the equifield intensity area. The numerical calculation presented here consists of the Norton's approximate equation and the Millington method, and is applicable to the complicated mixed propagating path. The computer simulation shows that this method is effective to estimate both the medium-wave broadcast service area and the equifield intensity area easily utiliz-ing the earth conductivity date along the propagation path.
This paper describes a conception and a rough design of new generation CM-Bank system. Video-Server with Hard-Disk-Drive is a kernel of this system. It makes the system more simple. And we can design the system which has a high performance and high flexibility. Moreover, this system will be completed in 1997.
