Visco-elastic behavior of a roofing felt for constructing built-up roof membranes was investigated in this paper. Tensile tests of a roofing felt were carried out at very slow strain rates at temperatures in the probable conditions. The observed behavior was analysed applying Maxwell model, three elements model, four elements model and power rule. The properties of elements and material constants were expressed as functions of temperature, then the validity of these manners were discussed by comparison of the observed and calculated stress-strain curves.
