In the past, inversely casted concrete involved the problem of space between concrete blocks because of the settling of concrete.
Up to this time a variety of methods for eliminating space have been tried, they have never been satisfied for particularly a large massively reinforced concrete structure.
We introduce the inverted concrete casting method using Al-flake to eliminate joint space and to improve working efficiency.
This method mainly consists of the way to control aerating speed of Al-flake and to disperse it uniformly in concrete.
As a practical example, a case of large-scale LNG inground storage tank is introduced.
At the same time, effectiveness of the inverted casting concrete using Al-flake is improved by the actually surveyed data.
