現在でもの着用により, 軽い皮膚障害を受けやすい人が多数存在する.本研究は, それらの人が快適な肌触りを感じることができるの種類や, 設計のための基礎資料を見出すことを目的としている.3名の皮膚障害を受けやすい女子大生を用いて, 19種類のの肌触りと, 肌触りとの力学特性との関連が検討され, 次の諸結果が得られた.
1) ゾッキサポートタイプの多くは良い肌触りをもつが, シアータイプ, ウーリータイプ, 交編サポートタイプの一部に肌触りの悪いものがみられた.
2) 着用中に快適な肌触りを有するは, 圧縮かたさLCが約0.5以下, 表面粗さSMDが約19μm以下の特有な力学特性を持つ.

最近, 需要が増えたサポートは女性の脚を細く美しいシルエットにするとか, 浮腫みを少なくするとかのように宣伝されている.本研究は, サポートのそれらに対する効果の真偽を確かめることを目的とした.衣服圧の高・中・低の3種のを試料とし, 女子大学生を被験者として下肢部のシルエットに関する実験を, また工場で働く定位置立位作業者を被験者として, 浮腫みに関する実験を行った.次の諸結果が得られた.
1) ハードサポートの着用によって, 大腿最大囲や足囲は大きく減少したが, 足首囲はかなり増加した.若い日本人女性の多くが細くもしくはほっそりに見えることを欲している足首囲がかなり増加したので, それらのの下肢部のシルエットに対する効果はほとんどなかった.
2) の衣服圧が高いほど, 下肢の浮腫みは少なくなった.しかし, 高い衣服圧をもつサポートは中年以上の女性には望ましくないことが示唆された.

女性の素肌の美しさをより引き立てるへの要求に応えるために, の透明感を改善し, より美しさを引き出せる糸と製品の設計・開発を目的とした.
まず, の透明感に関するアンケート調査を実施した.この調査の結果から, 透明感に対する女性の関心度や要求度が強いこと, 透明感は肌色系以外の色彩や厚地製品に対して強く求められていること, またの購入時から透明感を正確に判断しようとするほど女性が透明感を重要視し, 人間本来の自然な素肌の美しさへの要求が高まっていることが明らかとなった.ついで, その要求に応えるために, 用の原糸であるカバード糸を試作し, 糸の撚り数と編物の光透過性との関係を調べ, 透明感について検討した.その結果, カバード糸編物の光透過性には, 糸の撚り数と太さ, および編物の厚さと色彩が大きく影響を及ぼしていることが分かった.したがって, の透明感を向上させるためには, 製編後のの厚さ, および後染めする色彩にあわせて, 原糸であるカバード糸の撚り数 (あるいは, 巻き数) と撚り方向, および太さ等を変化させることが必要であり, またより自然に近い素肌の美しさを求めるニーズに近づけ得るものと思われる.

脚部上の傷跡は脚部の美しさに悪影響を及ぼすと考えられる.この傷跡に対すると化粧用ファンデーションの美的被覆効果とその客観的評価法を検討し, 以下の知見を得た.通常の薄地の単独着用は, 傷跡の目立ちを抑制する効果は少ないが, と化粧用ファンデーションとの併用は, 著しい抑制効果を発揮する.画像処理方式による美的被覆効果の客観的評価法は有効である.

本研究はシャドータイプのシャドー効果を実験的に検証することを目的とする.使用したはベージュ色で側面の中央に濃い色のベージュ色部分, すなわちシャドー部があり, このシャドー部は脚をより細く, 真っ直ぐに, 美しく見せるためにつけられている.視感調査と光学的実験を行い, 普通色と濃色ベージュのシャドータイプのシャドー効果は有効であることを, また薄色のものは効果がないことを確認した.

レッグ部のサイズ設計の基礎資料を得るために, 直円錐状脚部モデルを用いて, 脚部寸法とレッグ部の被覆形態との関連を理論的に検討した.以下の式が得られた.

目的　足のむくみ防止や痩身効果をねらった、筋力をサポートして体型補正、姿勢矯正、運動能力向上をうたったガードルやスパッツ等の締め付け力を強化したストレッチ製品が増えている。しかし、これらの製品の衣服圧測定方法は統一されておらず、衣服圧表記も消費者にとってわかりにくい。そこで、標準的な測定法を提案する一環として、人体上における衣服圧と、20代女性標準体型データに基づくダミー上での衣服圧を計測し、両者の関係を検討した。 方法　サンプルは締め付け力に違いがある類、ガードル類、スパッツ類合計9点とした。これらの衣服圧を20代女性被験者30名（Ｍサイズ）の人体および下半身ダミー（七彩製MP-20）で計測した。衣服圧センサーはエアパック式（ＡＭＩ製）を用い、計測ポイントは各アイテム別に10点以内とした。被験者については下半身形状を計測した。 結果　（１）被験者の体型は20代標準体型データの範囲であった。（２）人体で測定した衣服圧は・ハイソックスでは下腿最大囲前面、下腿最小囲後面で、ガードルでは腹部外側、大腿囲前面で、スパッツでは下腿最大前面など硬い部位で大きくなり、腹部、臀部などの柔らかい部位では小さい。（３）人体およびダミーでの衣服圧測定値間には直線関係が示され、相関係数は、ハイソックスの強圧タイプ、ガードルの弱圧タイプで高く、部位別には人体の皮下組織が硬い部位で高い。ガードルの場合、衣服圧は人体よりダミーでの測定のほうが大であった。

糸構造の異なる代表的市販レッグ部の表面粗さ特性を明らかにするために, 円筒モデル実験と人体着用実験を行った.試料には, ゾッキ, 交編 (SCY) , 交編 (DCY) , シアー, ウーリー, コンジュゲイトのを用いた.交編PSと他PSとの間, ウエール方向とコース方向との間, 丈方向と交差方向との間の表面粗さ特性値に, 大きな相違のあることを明らかにした.これらの相違の原因を, 編目形態と表面粗さ特性曲線から考察した.

A wearing test for 15 different samples was performed on 10 female subjects to investigate the factors involved in the general comfort sensation of tights. In addition, the clothing pressure exerted by the tights was measured using a modified air bag system. The factors affecting comfort and comfortable clothing pressure of tights were analyzed. The results are as follows.
1) The sensation of 'Comfort' in wearing tights correlated with that of 'Wearing ease, ' 'Compressive sensation' and 'Mobility.' These sensations related to the values of WT₁, WT₂, EMT₂, WC and SMD in their mechanical properties. This shows that the more roughness, extensibility and compression tights have, the better thier comfortability.
2) 'Compressive sensation on the abdomen, thigh, fossa poplitea, calf and ankle' correlated closely with the clothing pressure exerted on those parts. Furthermore, it is on the front abdomen, the back abdomen, the front thigh and the back calf respectively that the clothing pressure exerted by the tights related to the sensation of 'Comfort.' Therefore, the clothing pressure on these parts is important in designing comfortable tights.
3) Clothing pressure can be felt on each part. Furthermore, both the sensations of comfort and discomfort can be estimated by the low clothing pressure within a range of 0.1-0.3 kPa.
4) The pressure levels of comfortable tights were 0.18 kPa on the front abdomen, 0.28 kPa on the back abdomen, 0.35 kPa on the front thigh and 0.49 kPa on the back calf, respectively. The pressure levels of tights on the thigh and calf were about 0.2 kPa lower than those of panty hose.

To clarify differences in air permeability of the hose cloth of different types of pantyhose on the market in Japan, cylindrical model experiments and wearing experiments were conducted. The former was made to determine fundamental performance of the air permeability, and the latter, to evaluate the practical performance of worn pantyhose. Zokki, kohhen, sheer, wooly, and conjugate types of pantyhose were used as samples. There were large differences in air permeability among these fabrics when elongation was low or moderate. In around the maximum elongation state, almost the same high air permeability was shown regardless of pantyhose types. There were some pantyhose with lower air permeability while being worn, or other ones which have higher air permeability, regardless of posture, body shape, and sites of legs.

本研究は, PSの温熱的特性に及ぼす吸湿性の影響を明確にすることを目的とし, 吸湿性繊維キュプラを混用したPSの熱・水分移動特性を, 従来のナイロンPSと比較検討した.
結果は, 以下のように要約される.
1) 乾熱損失量Hdは, 厚さT, 重さWとは負の相関が高く, 編目密度Sdとは正の相関が高かった.
2) 不感蒸泄時を想定した場合のキュプラ混PSの水分蒸発量Wnは, ほぼ同一厚さのナイロンPSに比べて約30%大きかった.
3) 発汗時を想定した場合のキュプラ混PSの潜熱移動量Hwsは, ナイロンPSに比べて大きく, 乾燥時間tは短かった.
4) 重回帰分析を用いて, 各パラメータの予測式を導出した.その結果, Hdは重さWと編目密度Sdの2変数で, Wnは水分率R, W, Sd, 厚さTの4変数で, Hwsは吸水面積Ab, R, Sdの3変数で精度よく予測できることがわかった.

  The clothing pressure of support panty stockings and girdles were measured by new system for measuring clothing pressure which was made by me³⁾. And the effects of these clothing on the body were studied with the changes of body demension and skin temperature. The results were as followed. The clothing pressure of support panty stockings on the leg was over 10gf/cm² which was effective for reducing body dimention. But, these hight pressure was not prefered. About 8gf/cm² gave the comfortable pressure and a little dimentional effects on the body. The effective girdle pressures on the frons of abdomen, the side of it, and the botom were 13.7g/cm², 23.2g/cm², 16.2g/cm², respectively. This girdle did not give comfortabie pressure on the body. It was recognized that the comfort and the body dimensional effect of the support type clothings were affected the changes of a few clothing pressure.

ガードル素材の力学特性とガードル着用時の被服圧および着用感を測定し, 被服圧と着用感および被服圧と素材の二軸伸長特性, 応力緩和特性との関係を検討した.その結果は以下のとおりである.
1) ガードルの総合評価と有意な相関が認められたのは, やわらかい, なめらかな, 肌触りがよいの3項目であり, 圧迫を感じる部位は, 大腿部がもっとも多い.
2) 被服圧は人体の体側部が前面および背面に比べて高い.快適な中程度の圧迫感を与える被服圧は腰部後面が約8gf/cm², 大腿部前面約13gf/cm², 大腿部後面約9gf/cm²である.
3) 伸長異方性の少ないポリエーテル・エステル系弾性糸使用のガードルの各部位の被服圧は, その高低差が比較的少ない.
4) 立位静止時および動作時のガードルの被服圧変動は, ポリエーテル・エステル系弾性糸試料とポリウレタン系弾性糸試料によって異なり, それぞれの素材の二軸伸長時の応力緩和特性と対応した変動を示した.

  The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of clothing pressure in the lower limbs upon the skin-surface characteristics by garment restraint.

  The tests were made on eight female subjects wearing garters of several types (width, pressure-load) to answer the pressure sensation, and to measure the pressure degree of their each part on stepping action.

  Then the relation between the comfort and the skin-surface characteristic by clothing pressure was studied and discussed. The results were as follows :

  1) The hardness on skin-surface in the up-standing posture was more than that especially of lower leg girth, in the sitting posture which recorded the maximum value.

  2) The pressure sensation in the thigh and the knee was more sensitive, and most of the subjects complained of discomfort when wearing tight garter in these parts.

  3) The clothing pressure recorded high degree at the outside of thigh where the skin-surface characteristic was hard and with small movement, while that at the inside of thigh showed the opposite tendency.

  4) The pressure sensation depended on the clothing pressure and the control load of garter.
