Computer-generated Fresnel hologram (Fresnel CGH) for three dimensional object can be made by calculation of Fresnel diffraction which is represented by triple integral. However, the computational complexity is very large, and it is not realistic method. Meanwhile, Fresnel CGH made by two dimensional Fourier transforms of each images sampled at a direction of depth is proposed. By this method, the computational complexity is proportional to the sampling number on depth. Therefore, only an object with limited information about the depth can be recorded by this method. In this paper, we proposed novel method for fast calculation of Fresnel CGH. It is to use two dimensional projected image holding on the depth information of the object, instead of three dimensional object, in the equation of Fresnel diffraction. Proposed Fresnel CGH can reconstruct an three dimensional object with continuous depth information. Some experimental results are also presented.
