    本研究の目的は,小学校家庭科「家庭生活と家族」の学習に適した市販絵本を選定するとともに,その選定のポイントを明らかにするものである。まず初めに,家族を描いた100冊の絵本から,学習指導要領の内容を含んだ9冊を調査用絵本として抽出した。それらの絵本を用いて大学生と小学生に読み取りの調査を行った。分析の結果,両者から高く評価された3冊の絵本が適切な教材として選定できた。さらに,両者の評価にずれが生じた絵本について,その理由を調査した結果,絵本を選定するためのポイントが示唆された。ポイントは, 1)学習内容がわかりやすいエピソードで描かれていること,2)登場人物の気持ちや場面設定が絵と言葉によって限定できること,3)理解させたい学習用語や概念が文章によって表現されていること,である。

    Picture books consist of pictures and words when they express themselves compoundedly. Pictures and words have their own special fields and the possibility of each expression is quite different. I try to analyze the process of the works of Suekichi Akaba, an artist of picture books and prove the reality of his pictures. When children appreciate picture books, reality is very important for them in order to work on them positively. At the same time, it is very meaningful for them to know how picture books were made.

    今次の学習指導要領の新規事項となった,小学校家庭科ガイダンスの授業に活用できるデジタル絵本教材を開発し,実践を通して有効性を検証した。ガイダンスの授業では「2学年間の学習内容を知る」ことが目標の1つになる。教材はイメージを伝達することに効果的とする絵本をデジタル化し,具体的な学習内容を動画や静止画で提示するリンクを貼りつけた構造とした。試作教材を評価修正した本教材を小学校32校で活用してもらい,教員用調査と児童用調査から考察した。教員は「説明がしやすい」「操作がしやすい」など教材の使用感について9割以上が肯定的回答をし,概ね使いやすい教材であることが示唆された。児童は家庭科の学習に興味・関心を高めると共に,「食」と「衣」に偏る傾向があった家庭科の学習イメージを広げることができたなど,学習内容の理解を促す教材として有効であることが示された。

    私は小中学校講師を経て40歳で薬剤師になった。薬局勤務の傍ら、薬局で糖尿病や高血圧の介入研究:COMPASS研究を行い、開発した「薬局版動機づけ面接」のプログラムを「3☆ファーマシスト研修」として全国で実施した。その後、2年間カナダで薬局薬剤師の研究を行い、今回京都大学SPHに薬局研究グループを立ち上げることになり帰国した。私は周囲の人々にピンチの度に助けられ、いつの間にか今の仕事に行きついていた。

    The 6-year pharmaceutical education curriculum commenced in April,2006,and the long-term pharmacy practice lasting 2.5 months will be introduced in 2010.In preparation for this,it became compulsory for 4 th year students of our university to take part in a 2-week course in pharmacy practice in 2006.To evaluate the result,we performed a questionnaire survey in which 404 students who had completed the practice were asked about what they felt were the burdens on them in the practice,their degree of satisfaction,what they had learned,and problems in the practice at the pharmacies where they undertook it and at our university.We then analysed the problems within our university in order to make improvements.
    The burden on the students due to lack of knowledge was greater than the time-related burden,psychological,or physical burden.However,the students seemed to have become aware of their responsibility as pharmacists in the clinical setting as well as that to society and for most of them,the degree of satisfaction after the practice was greater than the degree of eagerness before it.Though they felt that the content of the practice at many institutions was rich and varied they felt the lectures at university before it were inadequate.While the results of this survey showed that most students obtained a sense of fulfillment from the practice and had no major problems,for a few the degree of satisfaction after the practice was less than the degree of eagerness before it.
    Our university should now study the burdens felt by the students with a view to taking measures against them in the long-term pharmacy practice beginning in 2010.We felt that cooperation between the university and pharmaceutical associations was necessary in order to solve the problems quickly.

    I performed examination about the easiness of pushing out of the tablet from press through package (PTP) using the tablet of the ethical drug so far. I manufactured the PTPs that standardized a shape this time and reported influence on easiness of pushing out by the difference of the material of the PTP and film thickness as I considered. The PTPs to become the sample manufactured it using PVC (polyvinyl chloride), PP (polypropylene) or multilayered PO (polyolefin) of the different subject matter. When I pushed a tablet out of these PTPs, the necessary power (squeeze force) was 42, 28, 18 [N] each. Similarly, the film thickness 150, 200, the squeeze force of the PTP of 250 μm were 25, 33, 42 [N] in a PVC material. Furthermore, I did 149 provided patients of the agreement with a subject among the patients who visited the community pharmacy and carried out two kinds of sensory assessment about the easiness of pushing out of the tablet from various PTPs. As a result, it became clear to feel that the elderly person was easy to push PTP of thing using multilayered PO or film thickness 150 μm to material. From this, the spread of PTPs that considered easiness of pushing out and use characteristics in the patients with impaired elderly person and fingers that it was suggested that I can improve usability is expected by difference in material of the PTP or thickness.

    A questionnaire was given to students before and after the‘Early Exposure’programme,which was introduced in the first year of the 6-year pharmaceutical education course at the Faculties of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Kobe Gakuin University and Mukogawa Women’s University,and Kobe Pharmaceutical University in Hyogo Prefecture.The objective of the questionnaire was to evaluate the success of the programme and a total of 847 students completed it.
    The major facilities participating in the programme were hospital and community pharmacies.The major method of study was observation of the work of pharmacy facilities and it was used for more than 90% of the students.About 30% studied through lectures and 25% through actual work experience.Though almost half of the students learned about dispensing medication,fewer learned about medication history management and medication management.
    We asked students to evaluate their educational experience using scores from 4 (good) to 1 (poor) and 2 major questions asked were whether the work of pharmacists was patient-oriented and whether they had good communication with other staff and patients.The students who observed the work of hospital or community pharmacies gave higher scores than those who did not and those who had actually experienced the work of pharmacies gave higher scores than those who had only observed their work or studied through lectures.The students were generally positive about the programme.
    The Early Exposure programme seems to be appreciated by the participating students and we feel that maintaining close collaboration between community and hospital pharmacies and universities is important in achieving a high-quality educational syllabus for pharmacists.

    要旨:患者が錠剤やカプセル剤をPTP 包装から取り出す行為を支援する目的で開発された取り出し補助器具(以下,補助器具)が市販されているが,これらの使用性に関する比較検討は行われていない.そのため患者背景や医薬品の特徴に合った補助器具を選択するための判断材料は不足している.本研究は,剤形に特徴のある4 種の内服薬を用い,4種の補助器具をそれぞれ用いた際のPTP 包装からの押し出すための力(押し出し力)および健常成人を対象とした補助器具の使用感を比較検討した.4 種の補助器具による押し出し力は,医薬品の形状で異なることが示された.同様に各種補助器具の使用感の評価項目も医薬品の形状で異なり,医薬品ごとに対象者が使用したいと考える補助器具は異なっていた.薬剤師は患者の手指残存機能を確認した上で服薬している医薬品のPTP 包装の形状,医薬品の形状・剤形に合った補助器具を選択することが重要であることが示された.

    In this paper, we introduce a virtual pop-up book system using Augmented Reality technology. This system displays 3D virtual objects on the real book based on pose and position estimation of the camera. Although many marker-based methods have been proposed, a picture book with markers looks unattractive. Our system does not use any markers. We describe four advantages for the virtual pop-up book. Firstly, 3D rendering helps readers understand scenes. Secondly, characters look lively by using motions. Thirdly, author of the picture book can use the new representation which mixes 2D and 3D rendering. Lastly, it can express time changes using animation.

    Practical training that follows the Model Core Curriculum for Pharmacy Education (2013 Version) began in the 2019 academic year. We conducted a questionnaire survey that will lead to further development of the training system. The subject institutions were those in Miyagi Prefecture that accepted trainees in the 2019 academic year. Responses were received from 27 pharmacies (33.3%) and 14 hospitals (45.2%) for the subject institution survey, and from 69 pharmacy pharmacists (15.4%) and 151 hospital pharmacists (25.5%) for the subject pharmacist survey. Looking at the respondents’ level of involvement in practical training by their position, it was found that among 127 “other pharmacists” who were neither the pharmacist responsible for the pharmacy section nor pharmacist instructors, 56 (44.0%) responded that they were “not very involved” in the practical training, and 13 (10.2%) responded that they were “not involved at all.” Of those 13, nine (69.2%) responded that the reason they were not involved was that they “do not have certification for practical training.” More than 70% of pharmacists who said that they were “quite involved” in the training regardless of their position, responded that they had difficulty “ensuring my own working hours.” These results suggest that tasks related to practical training may be concentrated on only a certain number of pharmacists in an institution. Hence, training more certified pharmacist instructors and developing systems that would allow many other pharmacists who are not certified to also be involved in practical training are considered necessary.

    We conducted a questionnaire survey to evaluate the success of the Early Exposure programme which was introduced for first-year students following the new 6-year pharmaceutical education syllabus.Under the programme,pharmacy students visited community and hospital pharmacies to experience the work of pharmacists or to listen to lectures given by them.The questionnaire was completed by the 85 community pharmacies and 39 hospital pharmacies that accepted first-year students from Kobe Pharmaceutical University,Kobe-gakuin University,or Mukogawa Women’s University in Hyogo Prefecture.
    Ninety percent of the community and hospital pharmacies had provided students with the opportunity to observe their day-to-day work,60% had provided lectures and 30% had given them the chance to experience the work of the pharmacy.The pharmacists involved considered communication with students to be the most important aspect of the programme.
    Though the Early Exposure programme resulted in additional work for pharmacy staff,they considered it to be worthwhile and felt that they had good communication with the students.They considered the“ethics of prescribing”,“the pharmacist as a medical specialist”,“responsibilities of pharmacists”and“the job of the pharmacist”to be the key aspects of the Early Exposure programme.However,they requested that the universities and the students think more about the significance of the programme and its objectives beforehand.Also,while they felt that the students needed to be taught how to behave more professionally,overall,they had a positive opinion of the Early Exposure programme.
    Such collaboration between community and hospital pharmacies and university staff is extremely useful in the development and implementation of educational programmes for pharmacists.

    Based on the premise that stimulating students to learn for themselves should result in a general improvement in their practical training and make it more effective,we developed a support system and a textbook for practical training conducted at Gifu Pharmaceutical University.Ten graduate students used the system and the text book in a pharmacy training trial based on the model core curriculum conducted at the pharmacy of Gifu Pharmaceutical University which lasted two months.At the end of the training,a questionnaire survey was carried out.As for the results,many of the students commented that the system and the text book increased their motivation in the practical training (respective mean score 3.8,4.0,on a 5.0 grade scale) and made it more meaningful (4.2).In addition,many of them were highly satisfied with the training.The execution rate for all the specific behavioral objectives (SBOs) was significantly higher for the optimal stage graduate students (n=5)than it was for the suboptimal stage graduate students (n=5).Further,a self-evaluation by students produced mean scores for all SBOs that were significantly higher for the former (3.6)than they were for the latter (2.6).We conclude that the use of the support system and textbook helped motivate students to learn on their own and enhanced the effectiveness of the practical training.

    絵本の美術的本質は「場面転換」にあることを吉本隆明の言語表現論を援用して提起した。個々の作家や絵本特有の転換の拍子があることを指摘し,その拍子による転換の類型化を試みた。絵本の美術教育的意義はこの場面転換の感受・理解・創出である。しかし,美術科教育で場面転換の教育はなされていないどころか,それ以前に美術関係学習指導要領に「絵本」の語すらない。現実の学校教育で絵本は様々な形で取りあげられているもののほとんどが言語やコミュニケーションの手段として扱われているのが実態である。また,中学生及び大学生に対して質問紙調査と絵本制作を実施して,彼らの絵本に対する意識を調査した結果,絵本の場面転換は意識されていなかったが,教育可能性は十分にあることがわかった。

    英語能⼒の向上のため、小学校英語が小学校第5・6学年を対象2011 年から導⼊されている。さらに、2020 年度からは第3・4学年における英語の必修化が決まった。小学校中学年の目標として「絵本で扱われている語句や表現に慣れ親しむとともに、外国語を使ったコミュニケーションを体験する」ことが掲げられ、補助教材に絵本が導⼊されることになった。このように小学校英語教育における絵本の活用が求められている。英語で書かれた絵本は、日本では接することの少ない⽂化や社会、生活習慣などが含まれ、生徒が能動的に使用できる英語を習得するため非常に有効な教材であると考えられる。しかし、英語絵本の活用については、その方法や教材研究の枠組みは未だ開発途上にあり、試⾏錯誤が重ねられている。本研究では小学校英語の教授・学習における絵本の有用性に焦点化し、教師の教材研究に活用できる枠組みや視点についての提案を⾏う。

    Objective: Difficulty in extracting tablets from a press through pack (PTP) is believed to reduce prescription drug compliance. This is a particularly serious issue for the elderly or for those who have physical disabilities affecting the fingers. In this study, the squeezing force necessary to extract tablets from PTPs was measured for 33 commercial tablet products using a force gauge (FG). Additionally, a sensory test was conducted to determine the degree of difficulty in extracting tablets from PTPs by squeezing, and the correlation between the difficulty measure and squeezing force was evaluated.

    Methods: The squeezing force for 33 products was measured by FG. The sensory test was conducted with 64 subjects. Four products, each with a different squeezing force, were used for the sensory test. In the test, each subject ranked the products in order according to the amount of force required to extract the tablets. Each product's total score was used in the statistical analysis.

    Results: The average squeezing force of the 33 products was 33.1 ± 6.9 〔N〕, and significant differences were observed among the products. The sensory test revealed that each subject could significantly distinguish the amount of force required to extract the tablets from each product.

    Conclusion: A positive correlation was observed between the squeezing force obtained using FG and the results from the sensory test. This suggests that squeezing force can be used as an indicator for the usability of the product. Therefore, the degree of difficulty in extracting tablets from PTPs should be considered when selecting drugs for the elderly.
