When industrial facilities or civil engineering facilities with artificial forms and textures are located in the existing natural environment, in spite of the possibility of negative evaluation as destruction of nature, landscape depaysement between nature and manmade structure can generate new landscape value as Technoscape. This study attempts to summarize examples of existing aesthetics of dualistic confrontation to quest the possibility of landscape of man-made structures and nature to be interpreted as valuable Technoscape. As a result, 3 effects of Dualistically-Confronted Landscape were extracted; (1) Emphasis of formal characteristics of two different elements, (2) Obscurization of meaning and (3) Production of new meaning. In addition, psychological experiment established three effects of Dualistically-Confronted Landscape; (1) Obscurization of meaning, (2) Production of fantastic image and (3) Diversification of reflected meaning. In addition, we estimated the structure of the process to generate its value.
