クロスドメイン推薦は，

の評価履歴を活用して物品を推薦するなど，ドメインを横断してユーザにアイテムを推薦する情報推薦のいち領域であり，の評価履歴データと商品購買データなど複数のテーブルを活用する点が特徴である．クロスドメイン推薦は様々な問題設定があるが，とくに本論文では両ドメインでユーザもアイテムも共通しない状況に取り組む．本稿が対象とする状況では，ドメインを横断したユーザ間の類似度（たとえばデータに存在するユーザと購買データに存在するユーザの類似度）やアイテム間の類似度（たとえばと商品の類似度）が自然に得られないため，一般的な推薦技術の適用が難しい．本稿では．「あるドメインで選好を共有するユーザ群は別のドメインでも選好を共有するだろう」という仮定に基づき，Gromov--Wasserstein 距離を用いてドメイン間のユーザの類似度を求め，それにもとづきクロスドメインのアイテム推薦を行う手法を提案する．複数の実データを用いた実験により，提案手法の有効性を示す．

Evaluation of tongue movements is often hampered by the morphological complexityof the tongue. We analyzed tongue movements wtih an optical sensing system developed by the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Faculty of Engineering, Kumamoto University, in which micro photo-transistors were incorporated.
The between the palate and the surface of the tongue was measured by photometry of the reflex light. The palatal plate employed for the measurement had a phototransistor and a sensor consisting of two LED's placed asymmetrically relative to the phototransistor and driven at a 90° phase shift. The sensor-tongue was determined as a function of the phase angle of reflex light signals, which provided -sensing characteristics less susceptible to the effects of the reflection factor than the methods based on the amplitude. The available output range was to 30 mm toward the lower surface of the tongue from the sensor placed on the hard palate. From these results, the apparatus was considered to be useful for evaluation of tongue movements.

Translated movie subtitles must be short and concise while retaining the original meaning, because they are flashed across the screen only briefly. Because of this time limitation, expressions that are not directly related to the propositional meaning of the original lines such as those expressing politeness may be omitted or changed. Complementing our previous study (Ushie and Nishio (2009)), this paper explores, based on the framework of Brown and Levinson (1987), if politeness expressions in Japanese movies are changed in the English subtitles and, if changes are made, how they are changed. We argue that the politeness expressions in the original, Japanese, tend to reflect interpersonal or power relations but that in the English subtitles, they tend to reflect impositions of individual utterances although in the “mid-” range there are some variations in Japanese politeness expressions.

日本とシンガポールの学校間において,通常のインターネット回線と低帯域高精細映像伝送方式を用いたところ,2Mbps程度で高精細映像による国際間遠隔学習を行うことができた.映像の遅延は約1秒あったため,生徒からは遅延が気になるという意見も聞かれた.その一方,高精細映像により遠隔地の細かな文字等を含む発表資料がはっきりと見え,高精細映像利用の意義が示唆された.

Panasonic has developed the world's largest 103-inch 1080p PDF prototype. The goal is to create the greatest viewing experience offered by a consumer product for home usage. According to our study, the best viewing is not 3H (height) but rather 2H. In the case of the 103-inch 1080p PDF, a viewing of 2.8 m, which is approximately 2H, corresponds with a 45 degree viewing angle. If one views it at a 2.8 m , one senses the same perception of reality at home as in a theater. Panasonic intends for this product to serve as the ideal TV for home theater.

This is preliminary and essential report on four-dimensional photogrammetry. We continue the discussion both view points; one is a new concept on one-to-one correspondence between object and image space, and the other a new concept on dynamic stereoscopy.
These concepts are created through the practical problem to find time-serial coordinate values (X, Y, Z, T) of the rolling stone locus on the steep slope or cliff by 35mm high speed movies. We can obtain good results on both the workability and its precision; the position accuracy was ±0.1m & the time accuracy was ±0.02 second from about 100m .

子どもたちに非日常的な異常速度運動を視覚体験させたところ, その持続時間の判断は次のように変容することが認められた。
1. 5才児に微速度映写画面を見せてから直ちに落下時間を予測させると, これを過大に評価する傾向が認められる。逆に, 高速度映写画面を見せると, 落下時間を過小に予測する傾向が認められる。
2. 11才児に高速度映写画面を見せると, 5才児と同様に落下時間を過小に予測する傾向にあるが, 微速度映写画面では殆ど影響を受けていない。また, 同じ走行運動を異なった映写速度で2つのスクリーンに映したところ, 次の知見が得られた。
3. 同時映写の場合, 5才児の距離判断にはタウ運動効果が認められる。また, 遅い運動体が速い運動体と同時間に短い距離を運動するときの持続時間の判断では, カッパー運動効果と反カッパー運動との併存が認められる。これはまた, 彼らの距離と時間の概念が運動知覚を媒介にして強く依存し合っているために, 明確な同時性の概念が欠如していることを示すものと推定される。11才児では, 速度・時間・距離の論理的関係が形成されているものもあるが, 彼らの多くは持続時間の判断が運動速度の知覚にゆなり依存するため, 多様な傾向性を示す。
4. 継時映写の場合, 5才児ではカッパー運動効果や反カッパー運動効果に基づく傾向というよりも, むしろ後で知覚した運動の特続時間の方がより長いと判断する傾向が認められる。11才児では反カッパー運動効果に依拠した持続時間の判断を行なう傾向が見られる。これは Piagetの見解とは異なり, Cohenの主張を支持するものである。

The three dimentional (3D) laryngostroboscopy was newly developed in cooperation with Shinko Optical Co., Ltd. and Flovel Co., Ltd. The system is composed of a 3D laryngotelescope with two TV cameras, a control unit, a monitor display, a wireless liquid crystal shutter eyewear, and a laryngostroboscope.
The specifications of the 3D laryngotelescope which has the two lines of vision are as follows. The diameter of the telescope is 15mm. The angled view is 70°. The field of view is 35°. The between the centers of the two object lenses is 6mm. The angular parallax is 7°. The diameter of the field is 25mm at the standard focal of 50mm, and 15mm at the nearest focal of 35mm.
The time multiplexed stereopsis is adopted in this system. Each field from the right and left TV cameras is mixed alternately and written in the pair of the two field memories in sequence in the frequency of 60 Hz, while it is read out and displayed on the monitor display in a high frequency of 120 Hz in order to avoid flicker.
Stereoscopic views with sufficient depth perception of wave crests rising from the medial/lower surface and travelling toward the lateral/upper surface of the vocal cords were obtained through the three dimensional (3D) laryngostroboscopy.

A dilemma for studies of Japanese cinema is that many scholars, who analyze it from a

, adopt linear, evolutionary narratives derived from the Enlightenment history or in other words, a colonial model of history with the West as subject and central force of progress. Japanese cinema is seen in these narratives as a belated national cinema following the trajectory of Hollywood in its various stages of development. A reevaluation of historical approaches is necessary to address this imbalance. We must research a greater variety of films, since they can serve as primary historical texts, along with other historical records. My paper will offer an account of the relationship between modern mass culture and nationalism, via an analysis of a Shochiku Kamata-cho (a filmic optique of the 1920’s and 1930’s) film. This study will focus mainly on the director Yasujiro Shimazu, whose oeuvre remains largely unresearched, in spite of the fact that he was one of the founding contributors to the style. The paper will be divided in two sections, which will examine in turn how ideas of modernity and nationalism impacted on Shimazu’s work and the style in general.
