Development of a Shelter Simulation Serious Game

Abstract

We are developing a smartphone application that allows users to learn about life in evacuation shelters during disasters through as a simulation game. We are working with experts in disaster prevention and development companies of disaster prevention applications, and implementing features such as making it easier to get necessary items such as water by evacuation goods. Additionally, we are simulating situations that may arise in evacuation shelters and other locations where there are no clear solutions, to demonstrate current development and considerations.
