Melting Reduction Process of Chrome Oxide from Collector Dust at Cast Steel Foundry

Abstract

  The soaring costs of processing foundry waste is an increasing burden on manufacturing costs. For this reason, demands for reduced waste amount and the development of recycling methods are growing higher. We have therefore developed an effective technique for reducing and extracting chrome from foundry waste, and confirmed that that foundry waste can be reused.
