Abstract
After observing the X-ray diffractions of n-dotriacontane, various paraffin waxes, micro-paraffin as wells as its fractions separated by urea method and chromatography, the length of each chain and spacing of planes (110) (200) were computed. Calculations were also made for carbon number of chain, the length of a & b axis, the cross-sectional area occupied by one molecule, and molecular volumes.
Observation was also made with electron microscope by "Replica Method" utilizing vacuum evaporation method.
