Abstract
In this paper, we have considered the variations of unit hydrograph resulted from the variations of areal and hourly distributions of rainfall in Japanese river basins, and proposed a method to make clear the effects of the variations of rainfall conditions on the unit hydrograph.
Applying the method, as proposed herein, to the YURA RIVER, we obtained such satisfactory results as it would be able to suggest many noticable points about the application of unit hydrograph method to Japanese rivers.
