Abstract
Safety information and control system (SICS) of CPR1000 NPP is the backup means for main computerized control means (MCM). Based on the necessity of design SICS, the paper focus on the optimization of SICS. Concerning CPR1000 I&C architecture and feature of DCS product, optimization of SICS shall fulfill the requirement of safety target of CPR1000 NPP. Then, safety target analysis, layout of main control room, plant function analysis and allocation, balance between local operation and remote operation, urgency of operation, requirement of regularity and codes, avoid of CMF and HFE method has been taken into concern for SICS optimization. At last conclusion on SICS optimization is provided.
