Abstract
This paper discusses influence of microscopic uncertainty of material property on homogenized macroscopic properties of unidirectional GFRP. Especially, influence of microscopic geometrical configuration such as a cross sectional shape of fiber or volume fraction of fiber on expectation and variation of the homogenized elastic property is taken into account. The influence is investigated using the homogenization method based finite element analysis and Monte-Carlo simulation. The numerical results illustrate influence of a microscopic geometric configuration on the stochastic characteristic of the homogenized property.
