Abstract
It is very important for prediction of fatigue and degradation properties of shape memory alloy subjected to cyclic superelastic deformation to make a modeling by using consecutive deformation and transformation model based on the fundamental physical lows such as constitutive equation. In this paper, the series combined model was selected as the analysis model with considering the experimental results of fatigue test. It is predicted by using inverse analysis that the effect of Cu content on transformation strain, magnitude of plastic strain and volume fraction of plastic damaged Martensite phase. The magnitude of plastic strain and volume fraction of plastic damaged Martensite phase increase with increasing of Cu content. Therefore, it indicates that the function will become to be good but fatigue life will deteriorate. It is necessary that Cu content be best optimized.
