Abstract
In this study, curved hole drilling with small-diameter using a suspended ball electrode into practical materials such as aluminum alloy and cemented carbide are discussed for wide application of this method. In order to stabilize the drilling performance of small-diameter holes, small vibration is applied to the workpiece during the process. As a result, by the workpiece vibration, a hole with small-diameter of about 5.0mm can be achieved using a smaller ball electrode.
