6-2-2 Studies on in-situ metrics protocol of measurement methodology for evaluation of energy conservation potential of end-use appliances

Abstract

Were equipment energy using test procedures and energy performance metrics to be more closely internationally aligned it would facilitate trade, conformity assessment, establishing methodological MRV framework and comparison of policy settings across the major economies. This study reviews and considers existing energy efficiency test procedures and energy efficiency metrics that underpin the home appliances and equipments regulations in place internationally such as Top Runner programs, and all forms of energy labeling.
