Security is becoming an increasing concern for many corporations using the Internet for business nowadays. Therefore, more are implementing Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRT) as a countermeasure. However, because it is still new, there are still many issues involved in establishing such a team, as well as managing one after its establishment. In order to be a reference for CSIRTs, which are expected to continuously increase in the future, I will compile the challenges involved in managing a team after its establishment based the preceding research, and by grasping the current situations of the teams on the issues while grasping the average situations of CSIRTs in Japanese companies based on quantitative research, then present the implications for the solutions.
