Abstract
We synthesize the perovskite-type oxyfluoride, PbFeO2F under high temperature and high pressure. By powder X-ray diffraction, it was suggested that the Fe ion in B-site positioned at off-center. According to temperature dependence of dielectric properties, this compound has a high dielectric constant at a room temperature and no obvious discontinuity indicating a phase transition was observed. In a temperature dependence of magnetic moments, the spin-glass like behavior was observed.
