Abstract

In this paper, we propose new algorithm for the adjustment of the hidden units of RBFN based on Ant-based Clustering (AC). AC is an unsupervised cluster discrimination method which can estimate the number of clusters, but its performance is not always sufficient for some applications. We modified the original AC and applied it to the RBFN for human face detection.
