Abstract
Based on a painstaking analysis of light expressing elements the characteristic parameters of light elements are introduced.These elements determine the effects of lighting in urban light environment systems,by which a characteristic vector including light parameters(such as light-color parameters,light-form parameters,multi-medium parameters,light-enhance parameters and ambiance parameters)and a relative matrix with the vector are defined.The object of this paper is to propose a mathematical model of light elements for ueban light environment planning,on which some modern systematic analysis theories and methods can be used.
