Abstract

Under the global and agile manufacturing, in this study, to optimize large scale logistics network design efficiently, a parallel computing algorithm has been investigated through a binary PSO developed one of the authors. In terms of the hierarchical hybrid method developed previously, its parallel implementation has been developed, and effect of topology is analyzed in particular. Finally, numerical experiments revealed some properties associated with the configuration and the efficiency.
