Abstract
Drain hole boring, needless to say, is an effective and the most common treatment for landslides. But, with time, frequently the function of drainage has been decreased or lost due to deposits accumulating inside pipe inserted into bore hole, clogging of strainer holes provided in the pipe, and other causes.
These obstacles are almost all eliminated by applying all direction jet nozzle and flexible double packers which inject water and air mixture into the drain pipe at medium to low pressure causing the mixture to spout in all directions.
This technique does not apply high pressure fluid, and therefore, the strainer pipe and land mass will not be damaged. Moreover, the equipment is compact and the cost of work is economical.
