Abstract
The demands of artificial replacement products such as artificial bone or artificial joint made of Ti-alloy has been further increased in accordance with a development of regenerative medicine. In order to security of stable supply to plural patients, it is considered that the automated manufacturing which uses a metal additive manufacturing machine having a function of machining center is effective. Therefore, this study has been proposed a magnetic polishing method with machining center. In this report, Ti-alloy is magnetically polished with proposed method, and the effect of various polishing condition on surface quality is investigated.
