Abstract
This paper examines the relationship between the three components of art education practices; namely, exchange of gifts, mutual sympathy, and pure gifting and in particular, pure gifting and unconsciousness. Pure gifting is concealed during formal gift exchanges. Based on Satoji Yanoʼs the two concepts of “education, namely education as development” and “education of generation” This paper confirms that education as development corresponds to pure gifting and that Shinichi Nakazawaʼs ʻgiftingʼ and ʻpure giftingʼ correspond to the three component of art education practices. In addition, this paper also examines and validates the similarity between pure gifting aesthetic experience and self-expression based on Masao Yamamotoʼs theory of aesthetic experience, which focuses concept of nothingness, and Takaaki Yoshimotoʼs theory of art language. Lastly, this paper concludes that Shokuro Sakamotoʼs practice of printmaking education is composed several theories regarding conscious exchange gifts.
